Cllr Ron Bradney, who is lead member for economic development at East Cambridgeshire District Council, said: "There is no doubt that the current recession is one of the most difficult and testing times any of us have faced in more than a generation.
East Cambridgeshire has not been immune from these economic pressures but we know how important it is for areas such as Cambridgeshire to be the catalysts to pull the country out of recession.
“To make sure East Cambs is ready for when this happens we have developed www.investeastcambs.co.uk to persuade businesses that our district is a great place to set up business. Along with information on the highly qualified and skilled local
workforce, it offers the chance to search all the available business premises in East Cambridgeshire and gives up to date news on business activities in the district. This website is just one of the ways we can work to get through the recession and make sure
we are in the best position possible to get ready for growth.”
